SOLUTION
UNT approached us with their intent in September of 2021 and wanted to have the field ready for play at the start of January 2022. This time constraint, coupled with the wet winter conditions, placed SFS in a challenging position.
PROBLEM
UNT wanted a faster-draining playing surface and to mitigate some of the "sponginess" of their outfield.
TIMING
DECEMBER 2021
We have used SFS to maintain our athletic fields for years. They transformed our playing surfaces into a source of pride for the Athletic Department. Our coaches and players constantly inform me how we have some of the best fields they have ever played on.

The University of North Texas contracted with Sports Field Solutions to convert their softball game field, Lovelace Stadium, from a native soil rootzone to a sand-based field with a top-tier french drainage system. With this field conversion, UNT also elected to install a new, head-to-head coverage irrigation system and install new infield clay.
